08. The Bilderberg Group
This society is different from some of the other societies that it doesn’t have a concept of official membership. This society consists of highly influential people that meet annually or gather annually in secrecy. Their meetings have been conducted since 1954. The members are usually from media, industry or other fields. Attending the meeting is strictly on invitation. The aim of the society is to strengthen the US-UK relations and promoting Atlanticism. According to sources, the meetings are conducted under the Chatham House Rule, allowing the participants to use any information they gained during the meeting, but not to disclose the names of the speakers or any other participants. The group’s reputation has always been in questions as a lot of controversies and conspiring statements are flowing for a long time.
